The print media world is evolving rapidly. Gannett's 'faux' alternative-weekly NOISE was silenced last week in Lansing, Michigan as they published their final print issue, an online-only version will continue to reside on The Lansing State Journalweb site. Noise was first published in Lansing in 2002 as part of Gannett's roll-out of alternative-type weekly publications across the country.
