The Polish American World, a weekly publication targeting the Polish American publication, ceased publishing on Monday October 22nd per the New York Times. The Polish American World has been in business since 1959, continuously under the ownership of Thomas Poster. The publication saw its subscriber list dwindle over the years, and the last edition was around 1,000 issues.
The print media world is evolving rapidly. Newspapers and magazines are changing their areas and methods of distribution, frequency, consolidating titles, converting to web only products and closing publications. Americke Listy Closing
Americke Listy, an American bi-weekly newspaper for Czech and Slovak residents in the United States has ceased publishing. The publication had reduced to less than 2,000 readers, and is closing for financial reasons.
