Freedom Communications announced on May 1st that they have formally emerged from Bankruptcy, with its dept decreased from $770 millon to $320 million. Freedom Communications owns 32 daily newspapers across the country, including the Orange County Register, Colorado Springs Gazette and New Bern Sun Journal.
