Stephens Media Purchases Iowa Newspapers

Stephens Media Group has purchased several Iowa publications from the Omaha World Herald.  These include the Boone News Republican,  Dallas County News (in Adel, IA),  Nevada Journal, Ames Advertiser,  Ames About People & Advertiser, Tri-County Times (in Nevada, IA), and the Algona Upper Des Moines.

Stephens Media Purchases Lincoln County Record

Stephens Media Group, a Nevada based newspaper group that owns the Las Vegas Review Journal, has purchased the Lincoln County Record, per Editor & Publisher.  The Lincoln County Record is a paid weekly, distributed to roughly 2,000 households on Thursdays in Lincoln County, Nevada.

Northwest Arkansas Newspaper Merger

The Benton County Daily Record, Northwest Arkansas Times and Morning News of Northwest Arkansas became zoned/city editions of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette on November 1, 2009, when a deal between Stephens Media and the Democrat Gazette Northwest Arkansas Operations was reached.

Boulder City Review Launched

Stephens Media Group launched the Boulder City Review on Thursday, October 28, 2009, in an effort to capture the audience from the recently closed Boulder City News.
